With “Stand By Me,” the 71-year-old singer electrifies the “The Voice” platform.

Bellmartin could publish an Album and give a live performance at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome after winning the season. Bellmartin has been the clear frontrunner since the start of that year.

When he opened his audition by singing the opening chords of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s World,” all the coaches immediately turned around.

In this two-and-a-half-minute video, Jimi Bellmartin sings Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me” during The Voice Senior’s The Final. The song, particularly the chorus “stand by me,” is captivating and is expertly performed by him. It is very touching.

When he first arrived in Holland, he was a year old. As a child, he wound up in Vught. Bellmartin has been singing his entire existence. Not just at events, but also as the background singers for well-known performers like Percy Sledge, Lou Rawls, Eric Burdon, and The Trammps.

He has spent years traveling the globe and demonstrating his ability to countless audiences. More than two million viewers watched the soul vocalist perform “Loving Someone” to win the RTL talent competition. He trained under Gordon and Gerard Joling.

Bellmartin’s debut song, “This is My Love Song,” was made available in 1970. In 2007, the funk group The Soul Snatchers introduced Bellmartin as their main singer. Bellmartin’s rendition of “Stand By Me” on The Voice is one of the most enduring due to his distinctive soul tone.
