Sometimes in life we meet someone and know right away that they are the one we want to spend the rest of time with. While on this journey called life, not everyone is fortunate enough to find their soul mate, but when you do, make sure you hold onto them tightly and never let go of their side.
An 80-year-old man visited his wife in a nursing facility and brought her flowers and breakfast. He was questioned about his wife and the reason she was staying at the facility by someone who had seen him doing this every morning. She had Alzheimerโs disease, the man retorted.
The interested visitor questioned the elderly man, โWould your Wife be worried if one day you didnโt come and bring her breakfast?โ She doesnโt recall, the man retorted. She hasnโt recognized me in five years; she doesnโt even know who I am.
Further perplexed, the individual inquired, โSo why do you bring your wife breakfast every morning, even though she doesnโt even recognize you?โ The loving spouse said with a smile, โShe doesnโt know who I am, but I know who she is.โ
This has really moved our hearts.
