Benjamin and Hope Jordan decided to hire a nanny to take care of their 7-month-old son. At that time, the young couple thought she was the right person for the job.
Over time, the Jordans noticed that their dog was behaving completely unusually with the babysitter. The friendly pup who had never shown any signs of aggression suddenly started growling at this woman.
“About 5 months into her being our babysitter, we started to notice that our dog was very defensive of our son when she would come in the door,” Benjamin said to WCSC Live 5 News in South Carolina. “He was very aggressive towards her and a few times we actually had to physically restrain our dog from going towards her.”
As the dog’s behavior was alarming enough for the parents to suspect something was wrong, they decided to place a phone under the couch to record what would happen at home in their absence.
And they were shocked. The recording revealed that the little boy was crying constantly, sometimes for hours, as he was left alone in his crib. More than that, the nanny could be heard yelling at the child. Shocked, the couple alerted the police!
