It doesn’t seem that long ago that Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner’s marriage appeared to be the strongest out there.
However, following a bitter breakup that included a protracted legal fight and numerous bullets fired in the press, the pair has firmly moved on.

According to sources, Christine Baumgartner’s decision to file for divorce in May of last year (2023) caught Costner off guard. Unfortunately, the terrible situation would continue to fall lower from there.
Christine filed for divorce in early May, alleging “irreconcilable differences”. The couple had been married for eighteen years.
A spokesman for Costner issued a statement reading: “It is with great regret that circumstances beyond his control have occurred, requiring Mr. Costner to join in a dissolution of marriage proceeding.
“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Following Baumgartner’s petition, she and Costner had a long dispute, with the former being kicked out of the family home under a prenuptial agreement and the latter being compelled to pay $63,209 per month in child support for the couple’s three children.
Overall, Kevin and Christine will most likely be relieved to leave 2023 behind them. However, there was some good news in terms of love, if hearsay from some media sites is to be believed.
According to TMZ, Costner started a connection with US singer Jewel late last year. According to one person, the duo flew to the Caribbean together, and there was certainly something going on. They were flirtatious, and when they were together, they both seemed to light up.”
Another person went on to say: “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.”
Fittingly, Costner’s ex-wife is now the focus of similar gossip, with the Daily Mail claiming she may have a new passion in her life.
Baumgartner has apparently been spotted with well-known investor Josh Connor some months after her and Kevin’s divorce was finalized.
The Daily Mail released a series of photos, one of which showed Baumgartner, a 49-year-old fashion designer, leaving Connor off at his house.
Interestingly, Baumgartner and Connor have already been tied together. Baumgartner was compelled to answer a question regarding their connection during her divorce proceedings after the two were spotted on a summer trip to Hawaii last July.
“No,” Baumgartner said when asked where her boyfriend Connor was. The 49-year-old then claimed that Connor slept in a different room when the two were on vacation. According to the Mail, Baumgartner and Connor returned to Hawaii in December.
Baumgartner’s counsel also revealed that Josh lent her $20,000 last summer when she was distraught over her divorce from Costner.According to the Mail, Connor divorced his former wife in January 2023 and has three children with her.
