A normal trip became a memorable occasion when a flight attendant seized the intercom—not for an announcement, but to sing.

When a flight attendant took over the intercom to sing instead of make an announcement, a routine journey was transformed into an incredible experience.

The plane’s passengers fell silent as Oklahoma’s opening chords echoed throughout, waiting for every syllable. It sounded like a scene from a movie because of how passionate, powerful, and deep her voice was. Magic can occur at 30,000 feet because as she hit the last note, the entire plane erupted in cheers.

A flight attendant gave a fantastic rendition of the song “Oklahoma” to the passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight to Oklahoma City.
Jon Popiel, a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines, led the passengers in a breathtaking performance of “Oklahoma.”

Many others on the plane must have found that to be a stress reliever!
