Danica Patrick turned up the heat this Fourth of July, flaunting her fit physique and meaningful back tattoo at a lively family pool party over the weekend. Sporting a striking red bikini, the retired IndyCar champion proudly revealed her American flag tattoo — a design she got to commemorate her return home after spending three years living in the U.K.

“I got this American/checkered flag tattoo because I felt so proud and thankful to be back home,” Patrick shared in a patriotic Instagram post. “Thank you to everyone who keeps us safe and free.”
Family, Fireworks, and Fairways
The 43-year-old spent the holiday surrounded by her family, including her mom Bev, dad TJ, sister Brooke, and a cheerful group of nieces and nephews. After a day of swimming and sunshine, they capped off the evening with a dazzling fireworks show under the stars.
