Guess What This Tattooed Mom Looks Like Without Her Ink? Spoiler Alert: Her Kids and Dogs Couldn’t Handle It!

Set aside all of your preconceived notions about tattoos. Your world is about to be rocked by Melissa Sloan. You heard correctly—this British mother has an amazing collection of over 800 tattoos! Sloan’s ink fixation, which covers most of her face, is out of the usual.

The trick is that Sloan chose to hide her face tattoos for the picture. The change? astounding.

Our inked-up heroine has spent the last ten years creating her extreme look, as the Daily Star revealed. She gets three tattoos a week on average, which may surprise you. What a commitment! She drives her van sometimes and lives at home, because why not?

The story becomes more complex. She is very passionate about her children, but five of them have stopped talking to her. Sad? Perhaps. Still, Sloan’s two youngest children? They support every new design she creates and are her biggest fans.

But Sloan’s commitment to body art has cost her. Because of her tattoos, she has encountered direct rejection from employers and has found it almost impossible to get work. She told the Daily Star up front, “I’m having trouble finding work. I won’t be allowed there. Because of my tattoos, the company where I work as a toilet cleaner rejected my application.

“A long time ago, I worked as a toilet cleaner. It’s a common misconception that I have never worked, yet I have, however briefly. I would accept a job offer from someone right away if it were made tomorrow.

Sloan also mentioned that she has experienced social exclusion as a result of her appearance, saying, “I don’t get invited to my child’s school, and there are no Christmas parties for me. Instead, they recommended that I check out the window from the backyard.

What transpired then when she concealed her tattoos? Her family was not overly happy. To throw things off, she spent £3 on foundation and carefully covered up her tattoos. However, pandemonium struck as she revealed her face clear of ink. “The kids went crazy,” Sloan said. Not even her partner shared her views. “No, that’s not how you look. Reapply your tattoos; they seem strange. The dog looked twice as the children sobbed.

Consider that overly dramatic? Things improve. In fact, Sloan’s youngest child was afraid of her new appearance. She made an effort, but her kids were completely terrified with her momentary metamorphosis. and taking off the heavy foundation? It required a full day.

Sloan responded to the neighborhood trolls who made fun of her tattoos with style: “They said my kids are scared of my tattoos, but they were scared of me with the foundation on!”

Ever the brave one, she tried the tattoo-free appearance again, but this time she made sure her kids weren’t around. Still, the decision was the same. “‘Go back to your madness, Mom,’ they said. They refused to engage with me, acting as though I were a stranger, she revealed.

After she took out the foundation, everything was back to normal. Sloan pondered, “It should have been the other way around.”

She now applies the correct tattoo foundation—this is heavy, cement-like substance. She’s got a lot on her plate, and she doesn’t plan on quitting her inked self anytime soon.

Her new, more natural look elicited mixed comments from viewers, with many praising her makeover. Still, Sloan is not persuaded. At the end of the day, she says, it’s my life. “I like it crazy, but people said I looked beautiful before.”

That’s the tale of ink, identity, and a family that adores their mother for who she is. How do you feel about Melissa Sloan’s tattoo experience? Whether you like it or not, this is a tale that needs to be told.
