Marc Spelmann gets the first Golden Buzzer of 2018

Although Britain’s Got Talent finalist X only unveiled himself to be Marc Spelmann in gobsmacking scenes last night, he gave us a subtle hint at his identity right at the start of the series.

Fans of the show released their inner Sherlock Homes and by transforming into full-blown detectives, discovered that the magician tweeted a pretty big clue during this year’s audition rounds.

Despite the person behind the mask being speculated for months on end Marc, who was Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer in 2018, basically told us eight weeks ago.

‘Can’t believe a year has past, an incredible experience. Wishing everyone auditioning the very best, enjoy the ride [sic],’ he wrote.

Diehard viewers are convinced that this was Marc’s way of cryptically revealing him to be X, writing: ‘It was there all along… Amazing’ and ‘X was dropping the clue right at the start of the series’.
