This has to be one of the best “bang for buck” auditions for a contestant her age, even though we’ve all seen some amazing youngster performances on the Got Talent stage. To say that 11-year-old Asanda Jezile is precocious would be an understatement. She clarified, “Music is everything to me.” “I feel like a magician when I sing.” I could teach the Queen how to be a little diva if I got the chance to sing in front of her.
Asanda begins with a dance before singing the well-known song “Diamonds” by Rihanna. The judges and the audience both recognize that something special is happening. She gets four “yes” votes and a standing ovation because everyone knows how amazing her voice is for an 11-year-old.
