‘The Voice’ Singer’s Magical Voice Earns INSTANT Four-Chair Turn with “La Llorona”

The Voice debuted Lucia Flores-Wiseman, a 22-year-old emerging sensation, on February 21. The vocalist displayed her unadulterated talent in a pre-show preview, playing a beautiful version of “La Llorona” by Ángela Aguilar while deftly strumming her guitar.

Adam Levine wasted no time in pressing his red buzzer as soon as she hit the opening notes. Michael Bublé did the same, bursting into a heartfelt “BRAVO!” in the middle of the performance. Kelsea Ballerini couldn’t help but turn her chair as Lucia’s breathtaking vocal runs flooded the room. Lucia was one of the few competitors to catch the interest of all four coaches before John Legend finished the sweep.

The coaches lavished her with praise after the audition. Ballerini said that the performance moved her and left her utterly uncritical. Levine praised Lucia’s voice, saying he had “never heard anything like it before.” He was astounded by her unparalleled quality.

Legend, ever the tactician, attempted to win her over by bringing up his wife’s homeland, but Bublé went one step further and spoke to Lucia in Spanish, describing her as “unique and amazing” before expressing gratitude for the memorable tryout.

It’s still unclear which of the four elite coaches fighting for her spot she will pick. See the incredible performance below!
