Oscar’s life didn’t start out easy. His former owners made the cruel decision to abandon him by throwing him out of a moving car. Left injured and alone, his chances looked grim — until a few kind-hearted passersby found him bleeding and rushed him to an animal shelter.
Despite the trauma, Oscar survived.
Months later, a loving family adopted him, giving him a second chance at life. In their home, Oscar quickly formed a deep and special bond with the family’s infant son. Wherever the baby went, Oscar followed. If the baby cried, Oscar was the first to rush over, offering silent comfort and companionship. But Oscar acted.
Sensing something was wrong, the devoted dog gently lay down beside his little friend, wrapped his paws protectively around him, and stayed perfectly still. To the amazement of the parents, the baby calmed, stopped crying — and soon, the fever began to ease. Oscar remained by the child’s side until he fully recovered.
